In the proposed amendments the protection to a child is extended to child marriages, street children, children with mothers in prisons, children differently abled and children residing in Orphanages due to multiple circumstances.
The amendments proposed provides for inspection of such places where children face numerous abuses or face any unlawful treatment. In addition Education, Health and Labour Departments are directly responsible for the child rights and are therefore these departments are made a part of the composition of the Authority in the proposed amendment.
