Recently during an in-house session at SIndh Assembly, female legislator of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Rabia Azfar Nizami expressed her concern about Sindh’s low literacy rate.The meeting was held to discuss the newly approved budget of Sindh for the new fiscal year.
She claimed that the literacy rate in Sindh is even lower than that of Balochistan.She added that almost 2.3 million children in the province had their education disrupted after passing grade 5. There are over 100,000 of these children used by the mafia for beggary.
