The Chairperson of the board should have enough knowledge of industrial, labor and economic conditions of the Province, The Board shall recommend to Government, after such enquiry as the Board may deem fit, the minimum rates of wages for adult, skilled and unskilled workers for males and females and hourly wages for part time workers. It is the responsibility of board to promote and develop wages based on where the employer provides additional perks such as Housing, Health Hospitalization insurance to workers till this becomes universal norm.
